Is this another situation where someone decides its offensive to the group the mascot represents, but in reality they don't care as much as those who claim is offensive say they are?
Kind of like how there is an Indian dude trying to get Washington to change the mascot back to Redskins?
And you know what gets me about this shite? The Indian mascots for example. Why are not all teams that have an Indian mascot not changed? If its so offensive it should be across the board right? The Chiefs.. NHL has the blackhawks with an Indian on its logo. Why is it offensive for a group of people to be mascots? What about the Patriots, Saints, Texans, Buccaneers, Vikings. If I found out my ancestors were vikings should I be offebded?
