You posted a map of a bunch of mostly empty red counties.

Post the corresponding population densities. Post the voting record by urban vs suburban vs small-town vs rural.

ETA: You also downvoted this post within 10 seconds of me posting it (just like the last one). LOL.

I don’t know, I’ve driven all through that state. There are areas full of like legit redneck type people. I don’t think it’s fully liberal. Look at Boebert.

Also not all the military folks in c springs are liberal.

It’s just the nicer areas are full of limousine liberals.

Although the earth sciences professor said colleges need more diversity and administrators’ “hearts are in the right place,” DEI goes against Martin Luther King’s wish for people to be judged by their character.

Thankfully, all OT posters only judge others by their character. OT should hire this professor.

Do you need a grown up to tell you what that means?

There has also been a recent lawsuit against them for discrimination against black people during the interview process and in the hiring process.

Google very likely spends a few million dollars to target a handful of black software engineer hires every year.

"Full" is not how I would describe the redneck areas of Colorado.

There are definitely large areas where you won't see anything but rednecks. You just won't see anyone there for dozens or hundreds of miles.

Like most places, a couple of cities control state politics. Get away from them, and you can avoid most of the insanity.

But this is probably as good a time as any to suggest that liberalism fostered DEI and responding to abuses of liberalism with more devotion to it will ultimately fail.

100%

My new favorite meme that I reply to conservatives and libertarians that puff their chests out about being “classically liberal”:

Google for example was called out a few years ago for low levels of black employment.

So?

Should there be an equal amount of AA's in IT as white folks, asian folks, and indian folks?
