That was a beautiful thing, so many coming together for one purpose.

We are about an hour west of Canton, originally this storm was suppose to hit DFW but some warm cap made it move a little East.

Prayers to those affected

I don't know - one guy kinda sounded like an a-hole for a minute.

Sounds like someone taking control of the situation.

watched it last night with my wife, we were in tears.

We have kids those ages and it ran too close to home.

I agree with the comments, glad everyone came together to make it happen for those kids.

I don't have a problem if the person filming is not able to get in the water to help. Maybe old or not able

But if you are able that is BS

Knowing the kids made it was the only way I could watch.

The big black guy was trying so hard to get that door open that was intense

So happy people were there to help

The main guy was calm, it was everyone around him that was going crazy. In those situations you have to remain calm and focused. I see it all the time in the ED. Family rushes a young child in through the front screaming and hollering. You assess the child and identify the problem and if you remain calm, you have a much better outcomes. Kudos to the rescuers and saving the young children!

Watched this earlier and assumed the dad died but the article says he survived. Where was he in that video?

I teared up big time watching that I won't lie.

My 1yo fell in the pool one day when I was cleaning it and he was walking behind me and even though I yanked him out probably less than 3 seconds later it scared the crap out of me.

Can't ever forget the image of turning around and seeing my fully clothed infant twisting in the water.

WTF... I hope he was one of the people involved and just wasn't identified

his car was flipped over in water

just because he survived doesn't mean he was in condition to save his children

I believe he is heard in the audio when the phones in the guys pocket. Somebody says "my kids" or something like that. Sounds like he runs up frantic but is useless. I don't mean useless in a bad way either. Just either exhausted or hurt, or hell not everybody has first aid experience or much less can do it to their own child.

Has their been any updates on the kids? Sounds like he is doing some rescue breathing and pushing some water around? Which case those kids may not be out of the woods.
