Could y'all explain how the spread works for the LSU game today? LSU is -3.5 and +105 in the spread. Kinda new to this just wondering how it all works

LSU has to win by 4 runs for you to win money if you bet on LSU

Well... technically 3.6 would do it

I believe that means if LSU wins by 4 runs or more, then for every $105 you bet, you will profit $100. But you can still bet less than 105.

Ok I understand that now, I didn't know if I had to bet $100 or not. I'm in Vegas currently and wanted to try my luck which isn't much

Actually since its +105 you would win $105 on a 100 dollar bet

If it were -105 you would win 100 on a $105 bet

LSU is -3.5
That means if LSU has fewer than 3.5 base runners picked off base, you win the bet....

I see. So the bet is even more enticing.

At +105 with -3.5, you can actually get it down to 2.5 probably at -110. Which means you would bet 12 to win 10, etc.

Houston +3½ -130 (+290 ML)
LSU -3½ +100 (-350 ML)

Over 7½ +110
Under 7½ -140

Not good odds on that under. I think LSU might get the over themselves.

Houston +3.5 is the safe bet given both teams have a great pitching staff going today; however, LSU bats have come alive and have only won one of the last 9 by less than 3.5 I think. And that was to one of the top teams in the country by 2.

Naw I'd take the "Push" option on today's game. It's not advertised by the houses in Vegas, you have to ask for it by name.

Put $100 down and if the game hits between the 3-4 run difference the house gives you $200 back.

If it was that cheap I would buy the run all day but I doubt it is!
