It was soaking in marinade.

Just so you don't cook it rare. I wouldn't worry with medium or well done at all.

Assuming there's salt in it, it's probably okay. I wouldn't eat it. Avoiding food poisoning is worth a lot more than $15-20

It’s bad enough you marinated a steak to begin with, but you had to do it in glorified soy sauce?

Then toss it out. Trashiest way to eat a steak, but everyone I know growing up in the 90s would soak it in Dale's and it was like drinking saltwater.

You're good. In a marinade? How does it smell? Any bubbles?

Probably why I like Dale's so much. I don't really use it in steak, but burgers and grilled zucchini/eggplant? It tastes like my childhood

Have you ever pooped liquid? I ask this question, because this is how you poop liquid.

Dry Aged..... you should be fine

You will be fine. There is enough salt in there to keep it from spoiling, especially if it is lean flank steak like you mentioned. Trim the outer edges as a precaution maybe.

Flank steaks aren't steaks, they're flank steaks. But yeah I do, usually in mojo criollo.

this is my most successful OT Lounge thread ever

I've cooking it, past medium well just in case, and I'm going to nibble on it and see what happens
