Never threaten legal action. You'll spoil the surprise.

And don't pull out a gun unless you intend to use it.

Just a simple linkage. So, you can extend it to a trailer behind a trailer, it would be back to turn where to go.

If I ever have to back up a trailer behind a trailer, I'm fricked.

A BMW doesn't need the arrow as the pump handle on the picture is the same side as the fuel door/fill.

How about you don't waste the wine, just move a piece of furniture over the stain. problem solved.

Most foreign cars are on the right, especially if they are made in a country where the steering wheels are on the right.

Most Euro cars have them on the right because it's a safety thing. It's less dangerous to be on the shoulder of the road if you run out of gas and have to put some in.

WTF is going on here???

I'm not sure, but it's weirding me out.

I believe there was a thread months ago that had a whole list of words with some similar issue/concept. Does anyone have any idea what thread that was in or what the title was?

stopping for gas,
You should always fill up your car first thing in the morning.
It is the coldest part of the day, and therefore, the gas will have the most advantageous density.

If you are over 50 go pee before you get in a vehicle even if you are just going down the road to the store. Guaranteed if you do not you will be wishing you had.

Gasoline is stored underground, I doubt the stored gas is affected by temperature change at all, let alone enough to change the density of the liquid.

An old but good one. Use to be common knowledge but today......?

If you want to have a pleasant conversation don't talk about religion, race or politics.

Another tip: hold the wheel at 6 o’clock and move it in the direction you want the trailer to go.

The lottery isn't for suckers.

It's the high-risk portion of your investment portfolio.

If it flies, floats, or fricks, you are better off renting than buying.

with enough oxygen (aeration) flour is an explosive.

An explosion is rapid combustion or reaction where the sound/pressure wave exceeds the speed of sound. A deflagration is one where the wave does not exceed the speed of sound.

What most people call explosions are technically deflagrations.

Rule of 72

To estimate when investing money will double in size

Interest rate X years

When the product is 72 or close, that interest rate and years combo doubles the investment

Investing at 7% for 10 yrs doubles $ (approximately).

Works multiple ways

When will investment be 50% higher (product = 36)

Or halved

Etc

[quote]What is the difference in flammable and inflammable?
If something is flammable it means it can be set fire to, such as a piece of wood. However, inflammable means that a substance is capabble of bursting into flames without the need for any ignition.

My mind has officially been blown for the day. I thought flammable and inflammable were the antithesis of one another.
