You do realize we saw it over Alaska, decided to let it float, and gathered all kinds of intelligence and data off the thing right?

There were rumors out of China that Xi wasn’t going himself because of concerns regarding drone strikes.

Word was his dbl was going in his place.

Tifwiw. Pretty good source on China I follow mentioned it as something they’d heard. Not as a sure thing.

What airport did they target? Surely you have a link to at least one source.
Although you are incorrect, why shouldnt they target Russian airports? The Russians surely dont refrain from targeting any Ukrainian infrastructure, especially their favorite target, schools.

Lol man, thats exactly what the Russians have been doing since 2022. Did you just get access to the internet today? Try googling the Mariupol and Bahkmut. Those are two fairly large cities that were flattened by Russia artillery. The Russians use this strategy on every village they approach. If youre not a troll then you really are clueless.

The war is three years old, Russia has lost countless lives, much of its military depleted, completely embarrassed on the world stage due to its incompetence, paid heavy financial prices from sanctions……and yet now Putin says ok that’s enough gloves off? Cmon

This is dumb as frick, I can see you're a big mainstream news guy. If Russia was targeting civilians, the number of civilian casualties would be in the millions. I am not saying Russia is good by any means but what you described is bullshite.

When missiles are shot down, there is collateral damage, and that's where the vast majority of civilian casualties have come from. Compare the civilian casualties to any major war in history and let me know what you find.

Good call, you're probably more knowledgeable than the founder/CEO of Blackwater.

I remember being told by some on this very board about a week ago that the notion Zelensky was threatening world leaders on X when he said he could not guarantee their safety in Moscow for the Victory Day parade is ridiculous.
not a terrible media-military 1-2 punch. It won't win the war, but it is good psychology.

Putin and Russia, both separately as well as a combined entity, are greatly dependent on how they appear to the outside world. Not being able to guarantee the safety of their patron (not ally, patron) is a terrible look.

If it makes the Chinese think twice (because of their alleged economic woes at home) that is a win and can be used at the negotiating table. I have no doubt Zelenskyy would squander it with his own ego, but at least he had a chance to use it.

A little nutty TBH. China is still sort of feigning neutrality in the war, and China has a much stronger army than Russia does. Ukraine would be doomed if they killed China’s leader.

Maybe don’t have a military parade while you’re at war within the enemy’s range. Sounds like a juicy and legitimate target to me.

And at this rate, what are they going to parade? The twisted steel that hundreds of Russian tanks have become?

It's quite odd this only works for Ukraine and never Russia. Feel free to practice what you're preaching
