UK doesn’t drink cold beer?

Just watching the British Open and they’re saying how they serve you warm beers there and “all the ice machines within 50 miles of the course are broken.” I’ve always heard of the no ice thing but warm beer? That crosses the line.

It's not really warm. Their Coors lights mountains just aren't blue. Just not cold enough is what I'd call it.

I’ve gone to England a few times. At the pubs, they have all the shitty warm English beer that no one drinks in one set of taps, and then Heineken, bud, Stella, etc served ice cold that everyone actually drinks.
And yea they are lame AF with ice.

There are some restaurants there that have ice dispensers and refillable cokes like here in the good ole US of A, and when people see them for the first time, they can't believe it.
They've been lied to for years, they love a nice cold Co-cola. Probably the same with beer!
My father in law was born and raised in Germany (military brat), and likes his beer at room temperature. It's disgusting. I keep a few just in the pantry for him. There is no drink in my world that is enhanced by being room temperature. It's gotta be either ice cold or piping hot (hot cocoa, etc)
