Found a dead bird chicken size this morning. Head gone and gutted, Lots of feathers plucked around. The closest chickens nearby are about 200yds away. Will coyote/fox carry a kill that far to eat?
And the chicken had five toes so was that a Silkie chicken? Do have a coyote and fox population because I’ve seen them.

I was thinking 10/22 also, easy to shoot, light, short and it won’t scare her.

Truck is over 10yrs old. They all loose refrigerant over time through compressor shaft seal and the rubber compressor hoses. Have a shop recover existing refrigerant; the machine weighs what came out. If it’s zero you got a problem. Pull a good vacuum and charge by weight. Look for oily spots on lines and condenser. See how long it lasts.

I remember in the 70s as a teen there were reflectors in the curves of the river for the barge traffic.

Haven’t been there in decades but if you left lock1 canal and went south in the West Pearl there was a spot in the river that was shallow with a lot of gravel; on the west side there was remains of some vessel that had large bottom timbers and rusted remains of a boiler that would show in low water. This is north of the pipeline. There was water flow wells in many places where water just flowed supposedly drilled by Army Corps of engineers.

Got a Paypal money request email from someone I didn't know. Knew not to click the link and logged into Paypal and the request is there, cancelled transaction. The next day another request from someone else. Logged into Paypal to check that one, clicked on the request and it had a note " If you don't recognize this request call this number. They answered Customer Service or something of that nature and a offered to fix my Paypal. I (feel like an idiot) let them take over my computer. Got some blue screens off and on. Had me log into my bank account and it shows the money request had been paid and they would refund the transaction. They put the refund money in but way to much and said they needed it back. Did a wire transfer to give them their money back. My bank account screens showed the transactions and they were all fake. I was taking screen shots of all the screens including the account it went to.
My computer was infected and had to have it debugged.
I feel very lucky to have recovered the funds.

Just want to share the great news and I’ll keep it short. I was the victim of a PayPal wire transfer scam and lost over 14K in May. Filed a police report with Livingston Sheriff’s Office and was then contacted by a detective and provided him with documentation of the event. He got right on it and took quick action. The money showed back up in my account this morning. The movie the Beekeeper scam was very similar, a lot of it was almost word for word. Just want to post the Livingston Sheriff Detectives are top notch, I can’t Thank them enough.
It’s my feel good story of the day.

Couldn’t the FBI test for gun shot residue at the windows? I guess it’s too late to test the washed roof. AR style rifles also expel gasses out of the ejection port so would there be GSR in the room?
