Eh no they would still be able to seem them if they wanted to. They are applying the encryption key.

They save every single thing, file, email, typo, voice keywords and also sell/share that with advertising networks, affiliates, subsidiaries.

Rarely use it but at one point you could record FaceTime video calls using QuickTime/screen capture on a Mac (both video and audio) and using screen recordings built into iOS (on iOS didn't contain the audio). Not sure what versions this is or was possible or how turning off allowing Live Photos affects this, but it would be like Apple to give false sense of security that turning off Live Photo's during FaceTime Video Calls would mean built in screen capture recordings don't work as well when they actually do.

Yet I could have my phone in my pocket while talking to someone in person about something like a cruise then magically cruise related ads start appearing in the Facebook app even though I hadn't gone online to lookup anything related to a cruise.
Why do you automatically assume it is Apple doing that?
That’s retarded.
Apple doesn’t make money on advertising.
You at some point hit agree on some EULA that gave Google, Amazon, FB, etc access to your microphone without reading it.
There is not enough local storage on any iPhone to locally store FaceTime conversations and Apple is sure as hell not running server farms to store the astronomical amount of storage it would require to archive billions upon billions of hours of FaceTime calls. They have no motivation.
Y’all sound like a bunch of Aunts on Facebook.

You don't think Apple saves everything you do?

It was the church/terror shooting in California..Apple wouldn’t crack the phone.

Or maybe they watched on one of the family members phone. That’s just a wild guess

No, the phone generates its own encryption key. FaceTime is end to end encrypted.
quote:
We designed iMessage and FaceTime to use end-to-end encryption, so there’s no way for Apple to decrypt the content of your conversations when they are in transit between devices.
quote:
Apple may record and store information about FaceTime calls, such as who was invited to a call, and your device’s network configurations, and store this information for up to 30 days. Apple doesn’t log whether your call was answered, and can’t access the content of your calls.
