Our government is run by anti-American liberals. I doubt this administration would go out of its way to protect a republican presidential candidate

For one he's not going to hurt his business by killing a U.S. presidential candidate. It's all the excuse we would need to go down into Mexico and clean that shite hole up.

This guy is just talking shite.

I'm not saying he's some scrub. But he's scared of the United States. Mexico is like Disneyland for drug trafficking criminals. He'd be an idiot to screw that up.

His knowledge of the northeastern region and his brand of brutality — beheadings and corpses hanging from bridges — made him a threat to residents on both sides of the border. He’s believed to have had a role in the killing of a U.S agent in 2012, and had threatened others, plus ordered the bombing of the U.S. consulate in the city of Monterrey. How his capture affects the violence across Mexico remains to be seen.

“Unclear, hard to say,” one law enforcement official said. “But things may worsen before they get better. I expect a lot of rivals jockeying for position, which may make the situation more violent.”

According to court documents and U.S. authorities, Treviño Morales used North Texas as his playground. Last May his younger brother, Jose, was convicted by a jury in Austin of money laundering. He faces up to 20 years in prison for funding a racehorse operation with millions of dollars from the Zetas. His operation was based in Lexington, Okla., and North Texas.

Treviño Morales had a $5 million bounty on his head placed by the U.S. government, $2 million by the Mexican government, and had rivals of his cartel gunning for him. He was protected by some 200 hit men, plus corrupt cops and officials who helped form a circle of 15 levels of security around him, difficult for anyone to penetrate, especially a government whose intelligence was often compromised.

the US has such a great track record of bringing these guys to justice.

I agree with this. I'm just arguing that if he really did want to kill Trump, it would be done by the weekend.

The guy insanely powerful, BEYOND ruthless, and earns hundreds of millions a month in drug money.

These guys don't frick around. They will behead your infant child and rape its corpse while making you watch just to get information out of you.

I mean we helped take down Escobar. This guy and his 1 billion is chump change and small potatoes compared to what Escobar was doing. He was running a 30 billion dollar organization. He was like the Steve Jobs of drug distribution and government corruption.

its horrifying to me that the US can't show a little muscle and put someone who has committed THOUSANDS of murders to death and instead watch as the keystone cops in mexico let him get away again and again.

this time on a motorized motorbike on a railway inside an air conditioned tunnel.

its laughable.

nobody is disputing our military might. its use, however, considering we let these felons back into our country again and again while putting US citizens UNDER the jail who are caught with pot tells me everything i need to know about our stomach for confronting real problems.

is the truth too uncomfortable?

i think someone needs to educate themselves on how sick these drug gangs are south of the border. i think you'd be shocked at what they've done to instill obedience and fear in the population.

1. If any of you honestly believe this is really

2. Chapo could take Trump out if he wanted to with no problemo

The arrogance on this board is ridiculous. Like they said in the mob movies anybody can be touched. With a drug cartel its killed or be killed.
