I'm not up to speed on LA's current sodomy and crime against nature laws, but I can tell you about a law that was in effect a just couple of years ago. If a female hooker gets busted for "straight" sex, it's dealt with one way. If a female hooker gets busted giving head, it's dealt with a different way - including getting the big red "sex offender" stamp on your license or ID. So don't be so sure that LA criminal code has joined the 21st Century.

Armando looked like an old, fat and ill tempered Pancho Villa, minus the bandoliers of ammunition.
Jim looked exactly like the kind of degenerate bastard who not only would lick a Tijuana hooker's snatch, but would brag about it. He was a piece of work. I don't know how the guy held a job. He was frequently VERY unprofessional. Some customers banned him from their job sites. He was a drunk and did a ton of drugs. It's a mystery to me how he never got busted by a random drug tests. But he also had his moments when he was fun to be around. He definitely knew how to party.
The hooker wasn't bad looking at all. Almost on the verge of being good looking. Jim's defense was "That bitch was hot!" My rebuttal was, "Yeah, but you met her working as a prostitute. In a low end whorehouse. In fricking TIJUANA!!!" He completely did not care. He was happy about the entire affair. No shame at all.
