No sir I’m not. Tyson would have gotten the ever living hell beat out of him. For starters Tyson was small in stature compared to Fury. Tyson Fury is ambidextrous and can knock a man out left or right handed. Combat sports is something I’m as passionate about as LSU football. I’ve watched Tyson and Fury fight numerous times in person. Fury is too damn big and strong and you have to kill the gypsy fricker before he will stop coming at you. Much like Wilder Mike Tyson is looking for the knockout punch. When that shite doesn’t work for those type of bully fighters they are in trouble fighting a man like Tyson Fury. Go back and watch the entire last Fury Wilder fight and you will see just how great that big white gypsy fricker is.

Id love to see the fight for sure. Its really hard to compare fighters of different generations. Id bet there were larger pools of heavyweight fighters at earlier periods.

I agree. Best two heavyweight fights in a long time. Fury got in better shape the second fight and had they not stopped that last fight Wilder would have left that ring in a body bag. Hell I think Wilder would knock Mike Tyson out. Wilder has knocked out everyone he’s fought I believe except Tyson Fury.

You are correct there was a larger pool in the Ali era. A lot of these men that could have been potential elite boxers are in the NFL, NBA and UFC. Boxing would be more legitimate if they would unify everything under one governing body like UFC. Many times great fighters refuse to fight other great fighters. I hate the way that sport operates.

Both fights Wilder got schooled by a pure boxer. The second fight was amazing with Fury going full attack mode, Wilder had no idea how to handle that.

I grew up a big boxing fan. Sad to see what it has become.
Heck, this guy (on the left) was the unified heavyweight champion not too long ago (last year I thik)

Wow, you mean two guys punching each other goes back to early humans? And here most people thought that was a 20th century innovation
And that really proves a lot bc it there's one thing that ancient Egypt was flush with, it was on demand entertainment options for the masses. Their movie channels and video game systems were second to none. Modern companies like HBO and Microsoft are still trying to replicate them to this day.

Btw, I trained in a golden gloves boxing gym all through high school so I can probably say better than most people, it's a boring arse sport. Good workout, boring sport.

I agree. Best pure boxing heavyweight in decades. Fury is not a great boxer he is an elite generational heavyweight. Gypsies are one of the most persecuted groups of people in Great Britain. His lineage dates back to over 150 years of bare knuckle fighters yet most truly have no idea just how good than man is. He’s whipped the best Ukrainian and United States heavyweight fighter and I still say Mike Tyson could punch that man in the face hard as he could in his prime and Tyson Fury would smile at him and say is that all you got little man.

I can understand and respect you think it’s a boring sport. Hell my kids think it takes to long to line up and snap the ball in football. UFC is more popular far as combat sports go. However, a top boxing prize fight occasionally lives up to the hype and in my opinion it’s worth admission when it’s a top tier fight. Fury and Wilder each earned a 5 million dollar purse and both were paid 25 million each for their pay for view cut. 30 million per fighter tells me a lot of people watched that fight. I went to that fight as I do most great UFC and boxing matchups. It was a whose who in the stands at that Wilder Fury fight. Same as the last McGregor fight. I sat about 3 rows back from Tom Brady. Everywhere I looked I saw professional athletes and actors or actresses in the crowd. I’d venture to say both boxing and UFC are more popular than you think.

Damn I didn't realize how big of a human Wilder is. 6'7", 231 with an 83" reach. That's two massive human beings going at each other.
