They have stolen an entire year of our kids' lives. There needs to be a reckoning, though I'm not hopeful there will be.

It's becoming harder and harder for the Chinese Flu True Believer simpletons on here to justify their support for this farce.

I mean, I knew that old people were vulnerable and were dying from it more than young people, but after crunching the numbers, I saw that 93% of the deaths in Louisiana (about 8400 total) were people 60+ years old. 73% are over 70 years old.

Which is why wearing masks in schools and/or closing schools is asinine. I could understand shutting everything down like this if people were dying in the streets, but they aren’t. It’s all a farse.

Seriously tho, what ever happened to Italy? Did they all die?

1500 dead per million; the US is at 1412 dead per million, so about the same.

Then a few days before the vote the CDC said that it was ok to vote in person even if you tested positive for COVID, you just needed to wear a mask

They’re not even trying to be subtle.

Yep.
Could have done from Day 1.
Over a million in US had Rona before 2019 was over per cdc antibody testing on blood samples.

We could have isolated old and frail. Carried on as normal or nearly so. Would hardly have noticed.

And lets not anyone kid themselves. We'll be dealing with the same shite same time next year. Every time there is an outbreak or a few positive tests, there is going to be a move to shut things down and cancel events. These mentally ill people will never let this go. It is a new religious cult with millions of followers.

Yep. By mid summer 45% of the deaths in the US were nursing home residents. Much thanks for New York for their great leadership in fcking up this part in a big way.

So when do you anticipate 70-85% of the population vaccinated? 2024?

That’s the unfortunate part - for 15 years I’ve been begging my husband to move back - but I lost all hope for New Orleans last summer. And quit applying for jobs and looking for places to live.

Although I haven’t gotten hopeless enough where I tell ppl I’m from Baton Rouge

I have stopped making predictions on this. I just look at all the crazy people I see around me and the power hungry politicians and realize that this is never going away.

I think most people are simply leaving the state of Louisiana altogether.

Yes, unfortunately (fortunately-????) that’s what we are looking at the present moment. But where to go? Lol

I said on that same day the Trump was done when he went along with the 'health bureaucrats', b/c the fix was in. He got duped and the rest is history, just like the once GREAT U.S.A. !
