When will they have a map of the path the tornado took?
As a kid I'd go to church functions at a family's house that is about 2 miles south of 84/i55 intersection.

Will probably be a couple of days. They usually post the survey to Xwitter when it is complete. That would be either in the Jackson or New Orleans area of responsibility. You can check/follow @NWSJacksonMS and @NWSNewOrleans for the update.
Following them is also a good way to get warnings. They automatically post as soon as they're issued and beat all weather apps, time-wise.

Drone video of Bogue Chitto destruction. It's bad. Only two or three mobile homes and one shed were not destroyed.

My sister lives in Brookhaven. They are good but she said there is plenty of damage around.

I don’t know anyone from down that way, but I’d try getting ahold of EMS or Fire Dept, somebody like that.
I have contacted the state EMA and they are looking for a place for us.
When I know if we are heading somewhere I will post details.

I haven't seen anything for the Franklin County tornado yet. There is some pretty significant tree damage in the area south of Roxie where a trailer park was hit. Trees debarked and worn away.

The Franklin County, MS tornado was rated an EF3, along with another EF3.

Im always so confused yet thankful when I see a video like that and they say there were no fatalities.
I have no idea how that's even possible

quote:unreal it went right up 55 for a couple miles damage across all 4 lanes and median.
You can look at the traffic on i55 and tell where it crossed. Dead stopped.

Around mile marker 34 on I55 just south of Brookhaven, there is about. 1/3 mile of trees laid flat. Drove through there Thursday morning and They were removing trees from interstate
