i for one am glad he's dead.

nobody wants to see a courageous dr save his life so he can do tv interviews for the next 10 years spouting his bullshite and getting off by being popular.

That's the exact opposite of what you and I and everyone else are doing. We're analyzing, interpreting, and creating opinions all about, and because of, him.

I honestly don't know how much keeping this stuff off the news would change things. Crazy people are still crazy. They'll still find ways to do crazy things.

People are using this as a soap box to reinforce their own biases and beliefs. This only comes down to an insane guy doing something insane. His avenue was racism... but if that wasn't available, he would have eventually cracked over something else
I think this is very comparable to the SC church shooting.....except after that there was an IMMEDIATE out cry about banning the "Rebel Flag".

Ditto. He hits a button on his phone hundreds of miles away and that shite pops up here in my office. Makes me feel violated.

I agree that both are similar in a way. And it's frustrating to see both viewed and responded to so differently from "society" (read: sheep). It's not fair; it doesn't help; it doesn't promote understanding of what's truly going on.

The CBS radio report had no mention of the races involved.

I assume this would have been the case had the races been reversed with the killer complaining about affirmative action in the past.

Of course, some of you think I am racist for even noticing this discrepancy in how information is presented to us.

Such a tragedy for those victims and their families.

A main problem is the media can now make good advertiser money off of twitter trends. Like when ESPN flipped their business model and Mike Greenburg started simply trying to get topics to trend on twitter. The MSM is pushing out subjects that will trend because it's like low hanging fruit. It looks a bit like Idiocracy.

I was thinking about that earlier, can anyone name one good thing that has come from social media? I don't know if I can. I was thinking family members in different cities could get picture updates and stuff, but I could also combat that by saying that it keeps trips down from seeing each other in person.

We are still in the early stages. That movie is coming true with the quickness. It's bizarre. I wouldn't have said that prior to social media but now, combined with a fricked up click me/click bait 24/7 media, social media has set us on a rocket ride to a moron's utopia.

He definitely took it to a whole different level of psycho when he recorded it and posted it. He is by all accounts insane, cowardly, and a cold blooded murderer and nothing else. Let us remember the victims and their families and not that monster.
