Two people killed in shooting near Tigerland

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Emergency officials responded to a double fatal shooting in Baton Rouge Wednesday night.
The incident happened Oct. 16 around 9:30 p.m. at an apartment complex near Tigerland in the 4700 block of Tigerland Avenue.
Emergency officials confirms two people were killed in the shooting.
No other details are currently available. We will update this story when we know more. LINK

Those apartment complexes just need to go away, period.

They may have been sketchy before Katrina but now they are full fledged hood.

Damn right by Gaslite. I lived there for a semester or two. That whole area just needs to be bulldozed now.

Is this really surprising considering the area that surrounds Tigerland? It should all be bulldozed and start over

Dang I stayed in those apartments while I was at LSU. Could have been me.



Except that was almost 30 years ago and it wasn’t such a shift hole then.

I lived at tiger plaza from 1989-1991. Wasnt high class but surely wasn’t a dump.

Tiger Plaza was the nice Tigerland apartments when I lived back there. I lived in those shitty red four plexes next door too. I'm scared to think about what they look like now. They were a shithole in the 90s
