It is laughable the effort shown for theft these days by police. They basically blame the victim in many cases for not doing more to prevent it.

no one ever does, its complete backwards logic because the more you spend the less likely they are to check.

the only times they ever checked my ID was for purchases under $20, yet i have bought things over $1k and they dont even ask for any ID or even ask my name to see if it matches the card.

they laugh when i joke about needing an ID to buy bubble gum with credit card but not a $2k TV
