2 things entered my mind
1. The girls should be arrested and charged but that’s going to happen for something anyway.
2. If teachers did have guns, my fear is they would kill her, or the teacher would kill them and get murder.

I saw where Louisiana all teachers are going to have a app to alert for help if something happens. At my wife’s school all the classrooms have a button they can press for police or a ambulance if something went down.

Correct, JBE wants button. Which would be fine if you can get to it. If you cannot does it really help? All classrooms already have a button to contact the office so how will it be different

Hopefully the app would work better than calling the office at my current school. If you press the call button to the office to request an AP or the school safety officer, they'll just call back 5 minutes later and ask what you need them for.

Curious as to what actual punishment those two students got.
Seriously, back when I was in school, you try to fight a teacher, you were GONE. for good. They had to go to some special detention like school just for thugs like these two.
