While scrolling through Twitter earlier, I came across this video. I'm not sharing it here, because who the frick wants to see kids dying on camera. (Seriously, why the hell does Twitter allow videos like this to spread, but apparently Trump and the Babylon Bee are too inappropriate)

LINK

quote:

Paris’ mother, Shinise Harvey, told NBC affiliate KSDK of St. Louis that she let her daughter go to the apartment for a family party celebrating March birthdays. Harvey said Kuaron is the son of her brother, the station reported.

She said the kids were making a video on Instagram Live in which Paris was playing with the gun, “but it went off and hit” Kuaron.

Whatever happened to playing with water guns at birthday parties? The article doesn't clearly state, but whoever is the owner of the gun that allowed these kids to play around with it deserve life in prison.

Paris “dropped the gun, and it fell, and it went off, to my knowledge. And then when she picked it up, she picked it up by the barrel and it went off. That’s all I know. ... It was not a suicide. It was just a freak accident,

Yea that’s odd but I’m damn sure not watching the video to fact check that.

Yea, either the mom is purposely lying or she didn't watch the video(which I wouldn't blame her)
But they were playing around, the little girl pointed it at the boys head, and pow. The girl immediately fell to the ground in a panic and moments later the gun went off again.
Me think the little girl committed suicide after she saw what she just did.

Well, I just did the dirty work. .

I don’t recommend clicking but it’s not like the article states.

They were doing hoodrat shite and she had a loaded gun with a pistol drum magazine pointed at her cousins head

Finger on the trigger then BLAM.
Freaks out, then BLAMs herself.

It wasn’t some cold blooded murder.

Just some stupid blooded manslaughter. Then a sudden suicide because she was overwhelmed in the moment.

Guns don’t just go off

The fricking problem here is CULTURE. A culture that treats guns as props. Toys. No respect, no discipline.

Just tonight my boy did just a hand mimic of shooting at me, playing, and I moved just like I would if he had an actual gun and grabbed his wrist in a disarm, a little rough. He felt it. And we had a talk that it’s not a game and if you point a gun at someone you better want to kill them.

I’ve taken them shooting before and made it clear. Guns are tools. Tools for killing. They are not toys and not to be trifled with.

The fact that some tweens had access and were just playing with a loaded gun is a damning show of so much gone wrong.

Terrible. Cannot fathom that experience.

But that was awfully fast for girl that accidentally shot her cousin to then shoot her self. Just strange.

Spot on. And mom just learned this lesson in the worst way imaginable.

While clearly not the case here guns have been known to fire when dropped. For example, look no further than the Sig P320.
