The statute of limitations needs to be challenged here. Her crime didn't simply happen 26 years ago. Every minute that the conviction stood and her false charge went unrecanted was a continuing crime.

What a dilemma for the members of this message board. I can’t name any place I’ve “been” in my life that is more racist or misogynistic than TD.com (the members, not the website).
I think the conclusion to this thread will be that the “alleged victim” should be jailed for a lengthy period of time, and that the black men were probably going to commit crimes or rape someone anyway, so the fact that they were in jail for 26 years is of no consequence and probably prevented furrher victims from being robbed, raped, or murdered.

I'm all about getting the conversation started. We must address issues head-on. For instance, I was for certain that my ex was a witch, just how she treated me. I got enough people (mainly friends) to go along with my theory. Long story short, we were able to get her to be burned at the stake. It was incredible, I felt relieved Turns out, she wasn't a witch. Oops, my bad. But I thought she was. At least i got to convo started, ya know...
