Who is Leanne? She's kind of a fox.

I may be uncouth swine, but I have no idea what is going on with their fancy protocol talk.

Generational entitlement and brainwashing of lifelong victimization.

So, are the good guys trying to blow up the COA tax and the cucks are trying to fight it because they're losing? Item 7 states:
quote:
17-00782 A resolution ordering and calling an election to be held in the Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana, on November 18, 2017, for the purpose of authorizing the levy and collection of a 2.25 mills ad valorem tax in lieu of the levy and collection of the 2.25 mills ad valorem tax approved by the voters in the Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana, on November 8, 2016, for the purpose of providing funds to be used entirely and exclusively to provide services to elderly citizens in the Parish of East Baton Rouge, and providing that such services shall be conducted and administered by the Parish of East Baton Rouge and/or one or more nonprofit corporations designated by the Metropolitan Council; and providing notice that a public hearing regarding the adoption of this resolution shall be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Metropolitan Council Chambers at 222 St. Louis Street, Third Floor, Room 348, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. By Councilman Hudson. Introduce for public hearing/meeting on July 26, 2017

They're fighting right now over entering item 7 for the future agendas. Item 7 is to call for another election for November to levy a 2.25 mill tax for the EBRCOA in lieu of the 2016 election. Basically, a do over on the election.

Apparently the democrats are blocking all agendas in the meeting due to the COA issue

How can they keep making the same substitute motion that fails and how did the original motion fail with majority vote?
Posted on 6/14/17 at 4:20 pm to Box Geauxrilla
shite. They can't even agree to discuss things in 2 weeks. What do they hope to accomplish on today's agenda?

COA brought in four bus loads of people. Lucky for them, they were all able to take off of work early to attend the meeting.

They should not permit people in the room - especially someone to speak at the podium - unless they are wearing a collared shirt. Is that too much to ask for?

...In a public place?

It didn't get a majority of the quorum present. It was 6 yea, 4 nay, and 3 abstentions if I remember the count. If there are 13 members present, it needs 7 votes to get a majority.
EDIT: I miscounted. It looks like there might only be 11 present. I got nothin'.

It's a governing body. Tshirts and jeans are tacky to wear to any meeting of a governing body, IMO. Then again, I have higher standards for how I think people should dress in public than what they typically do. Not sure why I should expect anything more from this group of vagrants....carry on.
