So let me get this straight. A group of black people show up to a restaurant they have never been to before to celebrate a birthday. While at the restaurant it just so happens that some white guy that is a friend of their's is at the restaurant and joins them. After the meal the owner follows the guy and and allegedly says the n word. Sorry not buying any of this story.

Assuming the owner actually said that, he is a dumbass for saying such a thing

But if the black family didn’t hear it the whole scene seemed unnecessary. The other white guy could have simply told the owner he didn’t like the way he referred to his friends and that he wouldn’t visit the restaurant again. He didn’t have to tell the black family what was said at that point and ruin their dinner party

So the owner thought every white guy in a PFG is racist? And every black person is bad?

I think I see the problem.

But if I went to a restaurant and my wife was called a slur, I’d be all up in that persons arse.

I married outside my race and am not offended if someone calls my Sicilian wife a wop or dago.

Dude, he said it. Hence the non denial. Should not do that as a business owner. Really dumb on his part.

Pretty sure the female employee seen in the video is actually the owner. The guy is the boyfriend. So he’s screwed over her business with his stupidity. That being said Nick’s best days are behind it. This will just be the straw.

I don't get the point of the beginning of the video about wanting the police to show.

Police can't do anything about the use of the N word. Doesn't look like he denied them service, that's not going to be something the police care about anyway. Sounds like he did ask them to leave, from then on out it's trespassing and they are the only ones that will get in trouble with the police.

I have a theory we all identify with which set Baw off but not sure I want to say. It wasn't just the word, but another connotation.

my money the best steak in the area is at Big Mike's in Moundville.

Big Mikes is decent. Never been to Nicks. But for a town like Tuscaloosa I’ve found it disappointing they don’t have a great steakhouse. At least not that I know of.

Even here in the Ms delta we have several local restaurants with fantastic steaks. Like 24 oz tomahawk ribeyes and such that are dry aged and so tender you can cut it with a butter knife.

I’ve been to many high end steakhouses in big cities and none have come close to places like we have here.

The only person we know for sure to have used a racial slur in the OP is the guy accusing the other guy of using it.

I hope your suggestion was meant as sarcasm, because if you were serious, maybe you should be forced to succumb to a castration and avoid any chances of your bloodline continuing. There's no room for such stupidity!

Dillards has great steaks but is overpriced for the level of service. Evangelines has a great filet.

This could all be a setup, but if I’m the owner and I didn’t say that, I’m sure as hell gonna make sure those people knew my side of it. It is kinda crazy he just passively denied whole the other guy went on and on.

The way he’s so over the top certainly piques my suspicions here.

I don't know...maybe he was genuinely pissed? He said he talked the place up to them, encouraging them to check out this restaurant, and then he gets confronted by the owner? I mean, I'd be pretty goddamned pissed off, too. Not sure I'd throw it on video, but I'd certainly have some words to say and never eat there again.

For the record, the guy who tossed out the hard R is from Pennsylvania. He married the owner after her husband died. The guy who called him out is from Alabama.

Filthy yankees contributing to stereotypes of southerners.

Interesting video on the restaurant Facebook page. It's a public page, so you shouldn't have to have FB to view it. Seems like a family friendly place per the video.

Not very crazy at all. He said it wasn't true, called it BS, etc. Big guy kept interrupting him anytime he tried to speak. There's no point in agitating a mob that clearly outnumbers you and believes something you claim to be a lie.
