I knew Dorignacs would be number 1 as soon as I started reading. (Rightfully so!)
You could certainly make a case for Don's Seafood.
List could have been a Top 20 easily.

Dearest Friends,
Several of you have mentioned Don's. You must be under the impression that the old Don's sign with the man in the boat pulling in his nets is still there. Like the Taco Tico sign, Don's interesting sign was lost to the winds of Hurricane Isaac in 2012. The sign that exists today is simply black background with plain red neon lettering. It would not make my top 50. Whoever designed it was either under budgetary restraints and recycled another sign or had zero inspiration or desire to put art on public display, which should be part of the purpose of a commercial sign on a major artery like Veterans.
I am saddened that there were no visible church signs at night along Veterans. Perhaps, if you continue reading these chapters, you will find one in the chapter on daytime signs on Veterans.
Photography to me is about documentation. The minute my photography becomes a hobby about myself and not a duty to my fellow citizen to show the world what we see at particular points in our lives is the day I stop photographing objects.
My love flows to you all.
Lovingly,
TulaneLSU

I will admit it. I initially downvoted you. Then I got to your first sign, Taco Tico. I owe you a future up vote. My sincerest apologies.

Anyone remember Taco Tico's advertising jingle from the 80s?
