Friend,

Another great photo spread! Thanks for the effort. If you ever get the van going (are you making any progress?), you could do a PoBoy/House float tour during Mardi Gras season each year.

In our 50 years, the wife (MHNBPF) and I have only experienced Mardi Gras one time, and that was from the street in front of the condo in Orange Beach. What I enjoyed most about it was a float where the riders were throwing small Moon Pies. We managed to beat an elderly couple from Michigan to two of them and enjoyed both pies a lot. Someone threw a full bag of beads to the wife of the couple from Michigan, so I guess they scored big, just no Moon Pies, so IMO I won the throw contest.

Maybe we need to travel south one day soon and make your drive through NO to see the decorated homes.

If I knew the location of a Creole/Cajun Keto Restaurant, we could turn it into a perfect trip. Maybe you and Mr. Arse/buttocks would agree to serve as our guides. Having the two of you with us would certainly serve as a Yin/Yang experience.

Anyhow, Thanks again.

Your friend from the land mass,
MD

This is a Buddy of mine's house... It's the old Centanni House on Canal which got famous for its Christmas decorations in the 50's and 60's...... It's what made Al Copland decorate his house.

No thanks I'm not going to the Bywater to get shot

Are these house floats even located close to each other to consolidate in a walking tour? Or are they randomly dispersed through Uptown/Garden District?

House floats " " are stupid. It's just lame, feel good propaganda from the Masked Covidian liberals in New Orleans to act as if they didn't cancel Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is canceled. That's it. Screw your "house floats" aka Mardi Gras decorations that people put up every year anyway.

Go hide in your houses with triple masks on. Pussies.

Tulane, I normally upvote your stuff. I dig it.

But this top ten and what you like/support and don't like is stupid.

I clicked downvote so hard I hope you felt it.

The people are free to "enjoy themselves" and we're free to talk shite on them. Kind of the point of the O-T.

I saw a nice one with a big Leah Chase stirring a gumbo pot this morning on IG, but I don't remember the page that posted it. Otherwise, I'd share. It looked cool.
