Agreed, but he appears to be much older than late 30’s - early 40’s.

Delacroix, time is one of our greatest gifts. Anyone could post such a survey if he or she spent just a couple of hours. Is it not worth it? I encourage more posters to consider what they post here and donate to the greater public a full wealth of conviction. If one spends three or four hours watching a game of adults playing a children's game, he is considered one of the boys. But if another spends the same time organizing a thought into something that may be of even small value to another he has never met, he is considered on the spectrum. I do not understand the values of today.

Very true and well put.

I have disagree with you about Sam's fruit.. The only decent tasting fruit from Sam's is the bananas. Apples are mushy and not sweet as are the oranges. The grapes always have some mold. Rouse's and Dorignac's seem to be consistent in their quality.

GreenRockTiger, I visit many different Sam's Clubs. I have shopped at the one in Slidell, Kenner, Metairie, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. I have also been to the one in Mobile, Pensacola, Langhorne, PA, and a few in Tennessee. My favorite location is Kenner, but we usually go to the one in Metairie. Please note, I do not refer to them as snowcones, as you once suggested. I call them snoballs
that’s great! I was worried about the snoball thing for a minute

When did your love of Walmart start? Why not go to Costco?

About shopping at Wal-Mart vs. Sam’s Club. A topic that no one here is even remotely interested in discussing.

There is no contest here. Sams Club quality is always better than Walmart.

Friend, I rarely find value in your inane rambling, but I whole-heartedly agree that this book should be required reading for New Orleanians

Your bigger concern, specifically at walmarks, is the price on the shelf label is not the price the item actually scans at the register.

At walmarks, an estimated 15% of items are mis-priced on the shelf. The average marked up cost is 17% higher at the register, specifically for groceries.

You're the first person I've come across to drink Diet Dr. Thunder and call it DDT. Other than me, I've been doing that for a couple of decades. It's gone up a lot, but so have Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke, so it's still much cheaper. And it's pretty good.

fr33manator, I am unworthy of praise from the Bard of TD.

TulaneLSU,

I am but a tavern troubadour casting Mardi Gras pearls before swine, a cheap carnival artist who will be replaced with soulless robots before long and cast into the dustbin of history.

Before I came to the OT, I read "all hope abandon, ye who enter here." I thought it a joke. I was terribly wrong. It giveth, and taketh away. I am, like Prometheus, bound to this place with chains of my own making. Feeding the carrion birds daily with my awful offal.

But for now, this week, I am out of that fetid, steaming, stinking swamp they call Red Stick.

I am in the mountains. I am breathing fresh air. I am walking and hiking. I am laughing with my kids and siblings and parents, for all my faults, and they are many, I have not been grumpy this week. mea culpa, mea culpa, mea máxima culpa.. I have not written much. Been soaking in the experiences. I'm sure I'll have something more to say later, but for now, there's adventure out there.

If I do not return, I wish most all of you well. There is still beauty in this world. Nature does a man good.

Yours in infamy,
Fr33manator

Um, both those places have apps. Compare using those and save gas money.
