This country's history is being erased.

I'm sure they can just use a different bell. What's the big deal?
If you read the article its sounds like NOBODY knew where the bell was prior to the auditorium. Again what's the big deal?

White people are connected to slavery, should that justify white genocide?

African Americans are the biggest snow flakes in this country.

Anybody else hear that douche canoe on the Democratic debate the other night say we need to pay reparations for slavery? All I could do was shake my head

Private company does something on their private property.

Just wait until they find out who the school is named after.

Tulane is in LA.
LA was in the CSA where slavery was legal.
Close Tulane.

According to the email, historical archives confirmed that the bell was made in 1825. For enslaved Africans who were not given their own pocket watches or clocks to check the time, the bell was used to communicate daily
How many people who weren't enslaved had "their own pocket watches...to check the time" in 1825?

Why not make a bell once used for evil now a bell used for celebrating good things. This whole “no redemption” phase America is going through is against the very fiber of what it means to be an America.
ETA: same thing for plantations for weddings. Make them become places of love and happiness. That’s how you truly defeat the horrors of the past.

If I'm a betting man, I'm betting at least a renaming is in the works at some point.

I missed any discussion of the legality of this.
Such a pointless response.
