Why don’t you ask this question of the people who made this an issue?

Really, at this point you have to realize these people aren’t oppressed and aren’t victims and aren’t going to go away by simply caving every time they want something renamed or removed. This is their way of getting back at white people.

Loyola, their Catholic neighbor, might be even more leftist. It’s shocking to see and hear the before and after of students there.

What a bunch of pussies the entire Tulane organization has become.

What a great school it used to be.

I almost studied architecture there. I was so close.

This is pathetic.

It's perfectly legal and fits a liberal college.

Yet still snowflakes are melting because they somehow feel this erases history. History they didn't even know existed until this article.

That's an excellent point.

History isn't being "erased" in all this. It's being taught and not only is it being taught. It's being taught loudly.

I didn't know jackshit about this bell and it's history until today.

People don't stop to think shite through.

Relax man it’s just a bell . Honestly I didn’t know they had a bell until now

Here these dumbfricks are thinking "history is being erased". When in fact it's being taught.

Yet they have no problem with people driving VWs, Audis, Porsches and BMWs.

One of the few places that I think a plaque of some sort would be really helpful. Not sure how to word something like that because I'm not sure how it actually ties to the school.

Just commit to not ring it after victories or something. Not that Tulane has that problem (zing!).

Where did he steal it from? And surprised it wasn't stolen in the past 40 years and sold for scrap.

It really sums up this website that the post that makes the best point in this thread is downvoted, but the racist comment two posts down has a lot more upvotes than downvotes (49-5 as of this post).

It was called the Victory Bell. So it wasn't being used anyway except during the Perry Clark era.

One of these days you will be able to argue that slavery didn't exist and there will be no evidence to prove you wrong.
