Pushed it closer to big branch and Lacombe. Damn this bitch is moving quickly. Maybe 10-15 minutes of shite-storm, but not quite what I was expecting. Crossing my fingers that the worst has passed

Seems like every time we get one of these events a tornado shoots just off the lake to the right of me here at the eastern edge of mandeville

Shouldn’t last too much longer for Mandeville area. Just a bit of rain and thunder in Madisonville now. Highest wind on my little weather station was only 24 mph.

In Metairie it's been a little windy and the rain is just starting to fall. I think the wind is also starting to pick up..

I feel that. I'm southeast of 1088/59 intersection so the ones headed towards big branch during the last few weather systems have had me nervous.

That was a classic setup for strong tornados in the Houston area. Rapidly rising temps from 10am to 2pm, perpendicular winds from the SSE off the Gulf and WSW coupled with a fast-moving front and lots of lift led to a wicked weather event throughout the entire metro region today.

They seriously just tornado warned that entire section of line.

I don’t think there’s anything there. I think the guys in the office are bored on the night shift.
