Woke up at 4:00 by very heavy rain with wind, then tornado warning went off at 4:30. They were showing 2 areas of rotation, 1 was just NE of where I am. Put the coffee pot on. Looks like track is going farther north now which is fine with me. Hope there’s minimal flooding and wind for everyone.

Wind gusts were pretty damn bad last night -- woke up a couple of times. Power is still out this morning but it looks like the rain wasn't too bad. Water levels on the dock are much higher than normal, but my new dock chairs didn't end up in the water

No damage at all other than power being out. I'm still amazed every year that there hasn't been a major hurricane roll through Tampa Bay in forever. We had that one hurricane a few years ago but that didn't do much

I remmeber. Everyone was parked on I-75 trying to gtfo, but you had no gas. I got on Gas Buddy and found a station that still had some aboot 5 miles from your house. I forget what storm it was.

#Elsa has made landfall in the big bend of Florida, with max winds of ~65 mph.
Impacts from rain, wind, and surf will continue on up the eastern seaboard for the next few days. Consult your local @NWS for local forecasts. Stay safe!

We're supposed to get a couple inches of rain here tonight and tomorrow morning. Should be fun.

Low Pressure system is pounding the hell out of the middle coast of Texas right now, places are approaching 20" of rain since Monday, 12" since last night. Rockport is flooding way worse than it did during Harvey.

Well, we spent all day at Legoland and didn't get a drop of rain. We were in the gap of all the activity. We just had a nice breeze all day.

We've had 22" in the last 36 hours at our place, they are saying we could get another 12 by Friday. Lots of houses and businesses with a few inches of water in them currently, just no place for the water to drain when you're on the bay front.

Yeah, it is looking like plenty of rain still to come down that way. Crazy to think that we have a land falling tropical storm/former hurricane, and it isn't even the biggest rain-producer in the country right now.
