It made landfall within several miles to the east of of this NOAA weather station.

And drowning coastal TX down at the left.

ETA: The hodos over SC tonight are nasty. Big increase in speed and some turn with height in the low levels. Tornados that spin up probably won't be fricking around, though short lived.

The NWS Emergency Tornado Alert for Charleston woke me up about 20 minutes ago.

A serious burst of wind threw shite around in my yard and we lost power for a little bit. Luckily nothing more serious as of now. Now I’m wide awake and have to be up in 2 hours.

As expected, ENSO-Neutral won't stick around too long and La Niña will likely be back in September.
