Trypophobia – disgust (aversion) triggered by viewing irregular patterns of small, clustered holes or bumps.
It is thought to be an over-generalized, subconscious evolutionary response to perceived dangers like skin diseases or poisonous animals, rather than a true phobia.
Most people are impervious to pics like these, but personally they make my skin crawl and posting this was a de facto shock therapy treatment.

Is there a disease that can cause this patterning on your skin or is this just an irrational fear concocted in people who need some sort of attention?

I definitely have it. Skin crawling sensation that starts at the back of my skull down my neck when I look at those pictures. First time I ever noticed it when I had a pickle spear I bent it like a u and it pushed all the seeds out and gave me that skin crawling sensation. Took my years before I would.even look straight at a pickle spear.
