I remember you could buy a nice used car from a private seller who took care of the vehicle.

Now, it’s just people buying used cars and and trying to flip 5 cars they are selling at a time.

Yeah unless it’s true off-road stuff (I’m waiting for #VanLife to crash and burn so maybe I can get a 10 yo Quigley 4x4 van for something sane) I value most people’s dumb upgrades at zero or less.

Used car market had to collapse. People are paying 20-25% on used vehicles. I got lucky buying a truck for son. I searched for many months and even vehicles in terrible shape are twice the price they should be.

Where are you looking? The internet is full of people trying to flip and make a buck. The past two vehicles I have bought were found the good ol' fashioned way, parked on the side of the road with a for sale sign in the window. Both were one owner from older men who don't use the internet for anything.

That’s weird.

Sounds almost identical to the housing market

No idea, but credit card debt is at an all time high and rising so I would guess by the end of the year. In August, student loan payments are suppose to continue. There should be some hard reality checks coming

Try buying a bass boat from baws who think their shite is worth more than they bought it for 10 years ago because they slapped a new graph on it that 90% of fisherman give two shits about.

People are so in debt and upside down in luxury items it’s insane.

All star is building a brand new used car only facility at the corner of Coursey and Airline. Expensive real estate, expensive building. So the used car market ain’t crashing anytime soon

So, he who has he most toys will likely go bankrupt first.

Sadly, I know people in this condition====big house, boat, motorcycle, two $75K vehicles in the driveway-------living paycheck to paycheck.
