There is nothing available anywhere.

Any Houston Baws have any suggestions?

Call a local police station and ask if they have any bikes they’d be willing to sell. Police have periodic auctions of bikes they round up in the course of their work and someone might be willing to sell a couple outside of the auction.

If you are okay with used, Craigslist usually has a ton of good bikes posted for sale

Try bike barn. Picked up one there a month ago. Went over last weekend and they still had some. Got a hybrid bike for about 500.

Seconded. I bought my bike from Bike Barn a couple years ago. Staff is really knowledgeable and you can get deals.

I got free shoes with my bike for instance.

I'll sell your my daughters bike that she grew out of and is still in pretty good condition. It has a basket on the handlebars.

I bit the bullet and bought one off of bikesdirect.com. Took about a week to get in. Assembled it in 30 minutes.

Its actually pretty decent.

Well, I would start with the bicycle ad that just appeared on the bottom of this page when I clicked on your thread.
