That just seems like a bit of an overreaction to a relatively insignificant and honest mistake that came about in an otherwise positive congratulatory tweet.
In a perfect world we (and I mean me too) wouldn't apply such insignificant mishaps to otherwise significant judgments of each other.

Yes lol so the real joke is this but the outrage machine won’t get it and don’t understand they are part of the joke as well given that I highly doubt they could place arrowhead stadium on that map above correctly

An example is Larry Leo. He has posted this at the bottom that trump tweeted congratulations to Kansas with subtitle/punchline: Kansas City is in Missouri....

I have known this since I was a kid and would definitely clown him but I still think of KC as associated with Kansas rather than MO (which I think of as STL being the unofficial capital). People that live in KC that I know are big Jayhawks fans, etc. etc. The fact that he deleted it is what makes it clown worthy.

Yeah this is definitely a classic example of a low-level trivia fact that a lot of people like to get a low-hanging-fruit gotcha on, so that’s why people are blowing up on him over it. To call this a gaffe is a bit of a stretch, but the fact that he edited it sealed his fate.
