People will lose hope. People who have already lost hope (meaning for which they live) have high anxiety and/ or depression.
Anxiety and depression are at all time highs, and this pandemic certainly will not help. There’s no signs of this getting better, and people are driving more fear every day it seems.
Hope is why people wake up every day - gives them something to live for. It’s an awful thing to think about people who are depressed already, and have lost their jobs. Horrifying that it’s creating more depression with business owners who feel everything they’ve worked for may never recover.
Suicides will happen, recovering addicts will turn to drug use or alcohol again, or new addictions will take place.

I also didn't have children to feed during the process so I could walk to work and wait tables living in a group home to do it in the beginning. Others won't have that option.
