I have a strong distaste for referring to Native American groups as savages. If the name ever applied, though, it would be to the Lakota Sioux.

Isn't Mr. Tilsen's name a symbol of white supremacy?

We’re all hypocrites in one way or another. Many will never admit to it, though. Especially the virtuous ones.

Well they can just go ahead and finish Crazy Horse then
Crazy horse was commissioned by a Lakota chief without the tribes consent. This, along with lack of funds, is why it hasn't been completed.
The statement that "they shouldn't have lost" as to why they no longer own the land isn't entirely factual. They lost and succumbed to a much more powerful nation. I don't 100% subscribe to the "stolen land" mentality as treaties were agreed to and signed by both parties that defined boundaries as to what was Lakota land vs what was American land. The problem is that American's broke these treaties and took what they wanted as they were more powerful. This is what I don't agree with.

We call this "conquest" or "conquering" and it has been going on throughout history in all parts of the world. Sucks to suck but you should have done a better job defending your lands if you indeed wanted to keep them.

I’m not gonna sit here and tell a Native American they shouldn’t have beef with the US.
At the same time I cant Get too high on a high horse about it as I’m currently living on the land we took from them and have no intention of leaving.

Well, the USA had one integrated Army. That helped. Had all tribes across the US come together don't you think it would have been a bit of a different story? They knew how to fight. They just weren't organized.

They didn't "own" the land. They didn't even have a word for ownership.
If they did not want the white man on the land they should not have been nomadic.
