quote:

President Donald Trump's plans to kick off Independence Day with a showy display at Mount Rushmore are drawing sharp criticism from Native Americans who view the monument as a desecration of land violently stolen from them and used to pay homage to leaders hostile to native people.

quote:

"Mount Rushmore is a symbol of white supremacy, of structural racism that’s still alive and well in society today," said Nick Tilsen, a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe and the president of a local activist organization called NDN Collective. "It's an injustice to actively steal Indigenous people’s land then carve the white faces of the conquerors who committed genocide."

Insert literally anything before that quote and someone will believe it.

I'll be glad when we get to a point where I don't have to read that BS sentence every other day.

Didn't they used to eat each other, scalp each other, disembowel each other and bury each other alive for the ants to eat?

Love all the “stolen land” mouthbreathers that come out the woodwork every thanksgiving and july 4. Basically the whole world was at one point founded on stolen land.

About Crazy Horse:

Cultural Appropriation there. Full stop. Without the arrival of the Conquistadors, that man would not have his hair flowing behind him, because he could only run so fast. Without a horse, none of the image would be even slightly real.

No conquistadors = no horses.
