Easter is in a week. The NFL regular season starts in 20 weeks. Big difference.

Why does he keep saying this crap when he has no frikking clue? He’ll be wrong a hundred times in a row, but eventually will have to be right. Then he’ll say, “I was right all along. I have a really big brain. It’s a beautiful brain. I should have been a doctor because of my huge brain.”

People openly rooting for this virus to be apocalyptic just to get one over on Trump have been one of the wildest parts of this whole deal

this thing is still going on to the point where we're in lockdown in August, he's fricked anyway so no real harm for him to make this statement.

this the key.

hes not interested in the cv19 issues that the nation faces.

he wants to win reelection.

I plan on voting for Trump. But okay.

You don’t have to agree with every single thing the man says.

Almost as bad as people claiming the virus is a hoax perpetrated by liberal media. Both camps have extremes and morons.

When people spread false information it can lead to people dying. But I digress. Hijacking my own thread. :)

NO interest in country he oversees, makes sense. Take your personal agenda back to the POLI board.

The big question will be how he answers the question about this at the next press conference. Between now and then advisors will tell him to stand firm or walk it back.

Trump quote

"I HOPE IT IS POSSIBLE for the nfl to start on time with fans in stands".

Who doesn't hope for that? What is wrong with saying that? Don't we all want that? Trump wasn't being definitive nor was he setting some deadline.

He expressed a generic hope/wish.

The virus will still be here, it’s going to likely ramp up in the fall like the flu, we won’t have a vaccine yet, and we won’t have herd immunity yet. So why on earth could this be “over” by September?

It would have been over by September if we had been allowed to develop herd immunity. But because we stayed indoors, the second wave is going to be worse than the first and more people will die in the latter half of the year than died in the first wave of the outbreak.

Given you've got almost 30K posts more than myself, would anyone notice the same about you. You're my fav kind of keyboard gangsta. Keep typing your fruitful life away.

Edited to 30K. Had wrong poster.

The amount of people on this board who cannot comprehend sentences is alarming.

"I hope it is possible for x to happen by time y" IS NOT THE SAME THING as saying "I plan on having x happen by time y".

This isn't difficult.
