That only applies to folks like you and me. We don't have staffers fill out the forms and knowing lie to them because their boss said so. Bailed lots of folks out in my lifetime and it was quite a bit different.
#1 You did not get 2 weeks to show up
#2 If you were booked after the judge had gone home you were in for the night
#3 You were cuffed / shackled
#4 The police did all the intake data, not the accused (or their staff)
#5 You were stripped, searched, and got the jail issued jumpsuit
Would have been more realistic if he had been treated like everybody else and not some wanna be.

Not necessarily true here. A lot of it depends on if you have a lawyer and how good they are. They can work out a scheduled time to turn yourself in. Shackles almost never apply to booking unless you're coming in from another facility. They're mainly used in transport and/or with high security inmates. The jumpsuit shite usually doesn't happen when you have a bond already arranged. But, some facilities require a jumpsuit for the mugshots. It's just preference. I've only heard of the measuring and weighing an inmate in prison. Not county jail. They usually just ask the person their height and weight in booking
