I think the irony is everyone here honestly believes a social media platform is the "downfall" of society. Unless one dude creates one for those dudes. Pretty funny.

I created a junkmail / trash e-mail that I now use. The problem though is that most of these companies require a phone number now for verification. There are ways around it - getting a second number through a phone app, but some of them are smart and won't allow a "Google Voice or like" to be used.

It was such a 'movement' less than a year ago. I swear, I never once saw a single thread from Parler linked here in lieu of the others. Not one. There wasn't a boycott of the others as far as I know.

I assume Stout and goofball will take up this new cause?

Whether people want to admit it or not, a social media company will not survive this climate if it's started with partisan pretenses. Twitter is 100% partisan now, but by the time it either happened or became apparent, people were already locked in. Same with Facebook. You need addicts across the ideological spectrum to survive.

And of course you need big tech's blessing, which he certainly doesn't have. Google and Apple will never support him on their platforms.

I don't give a frick about Biden, frick him too.

There is a reason Obama picked him as the VP. The same reason Trump probably picked Mike Pence.

But Biden hasn't been in office a year. That's not long enough to say whether a president has failed or not. At this point it doesn't look very good for him, but every president makes mistakes, have their moments, etc.

But no matter what Trump says and wants everyone to think, he really didn't do all that much either (no more or less than any other president). He was the least knowledgeable modern president. Some of it comes from not have any experience at all in government. People can say that "Im not a politician" bullshite all day because they are trying to be more relatable, but its like any other job. You need some experience.


And there is a reason that just about everyone he has dealings the relationship eventually turns to shite. At first its "oh he is better than anyone. I only hire the best and he is the best, best ever blah blah" then something happens and then its "he is a loser".

At some point people will start to realize the clown Trump really is.
