If it looks like a DMX video with white kids, it’s definitely bro country.

One thing is for certain -- living in New York sure seems to make you a complete fricking idiot.

Morgan Wallen is the current king of bro country
Jason Aldean
Luke Bryan
Luke Combs
FGL
Brantley Gilbert
Lainey Wilson
Kane Brown
HARDY

All that shite

Honestly the only current popular mainstream country artist that I wouldn’t call bro country is Zach Bryan. Unfortunately he played Auburn Rodeo last year at the same time he released his first major album, and the frat bros and sorostitutes adopted him. But those people really only know “Something in the Orange” and maybe a few other songs off that huge American Heartbreak album, but not any of his music before that.

All music is pretty dumbed down these days. The average hip hop artist is legally retarded.

Yeah I never listen to that shite. Not really into country too much but I’ll jam a few :

Cody Jinks
Ray Wylie Hubbard
Hays Carll
Gary Allen
Travis Tritt

I’ll listen to all the old stuff too.

Lazy hangers-on. Same with rap. Nothing redeeming about either.

I don't judge because taste is individual. My personal favorites are generally classic country - Hank, Willie, Waylon, George, etc. But that's partially because I'm old as heck.

Besides, sometimes a new or younger band or singer will surprise. I always thought Sawyer Brown was "new country" (told ya'll I'm old), then they came out with "All These Years" which I'd consider one of my top 20 country songs. And I never paid much attention to Kenny Chesney till he came out with "Boys of Fall" which is pretty awesome especially for anyone who has played or had a family member play high school sports.
