Even assume the worst case scenario, “throwing a bike”, aren’t the cops all stocked with riot gear for protection? Seems like they should be able to handle a protest like that without killing people. But then again, cops love beating up on civilians no matter what their political persuasion.

Nah, should BLM rear their head again during election season and do what they did in 2020, they'll be backin the blue once again. even though, yknow, in 2020 the blue was told to stand down and let em burn shite. that's when it finally clicked with me that it was all a farce. and i've had many negative encounters with police but still try to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I get it. people will do a lot to keep their paychecks. 'im just doing my job sir' 'im just following orders'

I believe the story was being floated as throwing the bike at the horse/mounted officer. I could see how that could lead to a severe trampling injury. I'm gonna need more than 40 seconds to judge the claims of either side.

Cops are nothing more than the enforcement arm of the state who will do whatever bidding is ordered of them so long as they get their pension and benefits. Doesn’t matter what political ideology occupies the skulls they are told to bust.
