Some dude driving a piece of equipment clipped the May Ave. bridge on the NW Expressway. It's 14'4" clearance bridge. Guy just plowed right through it.

It should be made very clear through legislation that if that ever happens, the perpetrator will be swiftly and publicly executed. Zero tolerance.

I've watched that second gif 10 times and I laugh harder each time. That SOB was sitting himself I'm sure.

Hard to believe it could do that much damage to that bridge. I would have thought it more likely to just crush The boom lift flat as it went under.

All those injection well earthquakes are wreaking havoc on older infrastructure around the Southern Plains.

Countless times I've driven through that spot.

It's a very busy section of the main highway through NW OKC.

I'd probably just jump so I didn't have to deal with the traffic

That bridge looks like it was close to replacement age anyway.

Looks like the boom knocked the fascia girder off of the elastomeric bearing- but there should have been lateral bridging in place supporting it laterally.

Probably wasn't in good shape to begin with.
