Let me know the next time you’re selling a house. I’ll show up at 3am and quality check the locks on all the windows and doors.

I’ll feel more welcome now that I know you’re pro-gun control.

I'm sorry but that's a gigantic red flag. No way in hell would I return to a house like that no matter what it looked like or what the price was

This makes zero sense. You wouldn’t buy a house because of your opinion of how the seller reacted to a situation that wasn’t specifically related to the transaction?

You damn sure do! Unprovoked, you spray a neighbor’s car. Then, when he rolls down the indow to bitch, you spray him and the inside of his car? WTF?

The old Terminex guy. Didn't he have his own pest control shop and it was shut down? Did Big Lee have anything to do with that?

Did you see the FB video of the sheriff clearly stating exactly what happened? He watched the videos from the multiple cameras at Lee's house. I passed by the house 10 minutes ago, so I saw where the truck was. He was 10-15ft from the street with nothing stopping him from leaving.

He could've:

1) not engaged in the argument
2) kept driving aeay
3) parked and kept his windows up
4) called the cops
5) not gotten out
6) not grabbed his gun
7) not aimed his gun
8) not pulled the trigger

There really isn't much to the story. Any defense is extremely weak

Did Big Lee and the neighbor ever knuckle check each other?

Sounds like the neighbor wasn't interested in that and Big Lee brought knuckles to a gun fight.

Who the frick was Big Lee?

That'll be easy. Habitually carries. It's his right.

He’s also going to have to explain why he shot him.

And that's where a defense attorney earns his or her money.

Saying he’s gone through years of abuse doesn’t work

Sure it does. It'll be defended logically and through precedent. But who knows how persuasive it'll be. Probably depends on how much money the old man is willing to spend.

quote:

I’ll give you my prediction. They are going to hang life in prison over the old guy. He’ll agree to manslaughter. The judge will give him 10 years jail time given his age.

He'll get involuntary at the worst. The defense team is going to make Big Lee into a menacing terror by the time the trial is through and the jury will value his life less than a dog.

Yeah that slut should wear clothes that don't reveal her tits and arse.

Jail and prison really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be for an old guy like that. He'll be treated with respect by the younger guys, have plenty of company, eat well, and have his medical needs met for free.

As long as he doesn't get a civil judgement against him, he may be out in as few as 5-7 years with a nice nest egg from not having expenses.

Assault by garden hose

Was it an AR-15 garden hose?

Should be banned, no doubt.

The only thing that I'm more certain of, is that we need another thread or two about this shooting.

Right. Spraying the guys truck was the straw that broke the camels back according to some of these people.

As far as I’m concerned this old man had zero reason to feel threatened in his truck while backing out of his driveway. It doesn’t matter who the defense attorney is. The video evidence is going to show exactly what took place. Lee will have his family testifying about all the stories the old man did to Lee and his house. Ultimately, the old man is going to jail.

When the video comes out, I guarantee there will be something new and not yet accounted for.

You're describing a completely different scenario. What time did you show up for?

It gives you the idea what kind of neighborhood you're moving into. If one neighbors is trigger-happy like that than who knows how the rest of them are....and now we know
