This should tell that's probably good news it's going to be nothing as it breaks itself down before landfall. rds already said as much it's going to weaken. It's possible it ends up a low end TS at landfall if not worse. It looked like a sloppy mess last night.

Anyone with thoughts for weather in Baton Rouge Saturday night?
Yes it’ll be wet but anything that makes them adjust the football game time or day?
I’ll duck now.

If it maintains its current track, Baton Rouge will be on the east side of the storm, so expect heavy rain.

Some are saying that it will dissipate upon landfall, so the biggest threat will be heavy rain. I don't see them adjusting the kickoff time or location for that, unless they're concerned about flooding.

I think the biggest concern would be lightning delays, depending on timing.

It should curve back towards Pensacola. BR will be fine for the game.

Reality is even if it gets shredded just offshore the outer bands will still be a major issue with gusts and heavy rain.
The positive is if the game kicks between rain bands it might not be all that bad.

Latest GFS is showing it sneaking up the Pearl River outlet Saturday morning and getting out of dodge by the evening.
Euro has it bouncing around the southern Gulf until next week.
Tigers by a million

Not quite sure what you’re looking at.

This isn't going to be a thing. Quit worrying about it.

This better not mean the LSU/Alabama game will be moved to Tuscaloosa.

I was just told that a TS or H has never hit TX or LA in November or December in recorded history.
WTF is going on

Mount Fuji had never experienced a snowless October either

There have been a couple. Rare but not unheard of.
Just a couple years ago Florida had one.
This isn’t some huge anomaly.

these things always go to the east. Seems the the nhc brains would've figured that out by now.
