Funny story about Oregon state. I ran on the field first and was about to get arrested, and then they let me go because the streaker ran on the field right as they got me in the tunnel. He actually got arrested

This might out me, but I got kicked out of high school a couple of weeks later.

Man these hurricane threads are rough without the 3-4 weather guys. 3 pages of reliving rainy LSU games. It's brutal in here.

Everyone STFU except for actual storm-related info.

That is all. Thank You.

Its predicted by the NHC to be a 50mph weakening TS 80 miles off the LA coast on Sunday and might just die over the gulf or turn NE - Anywhere east of the storm is going to get rain

Someone sent me this:

quote:

Our forecast takes the center to off the southeast Louisiana coast on Saturday while weakening it to a remnant low pressure area. We are uncertain whether that remnant low tracks northeastward into southeast Louisiana or Mississippi or whether the remnant low drifts off to the southwest.
It is worth noting that no model has Rafael reaching the northern or western Gulf Coast as a tropical storm.
Strong wind shear across the northern Gulf should cause steady weakening once the center moves north of 25N latitude Thursday evening. Our forecast follows the model consensus, which has Rafael dissipating off the Louisiana coast over the weekend. It is quite possible that the remnant low moves inland over southeast Louisiana or Mississippi, but the low would produce no significant wind or storm surge, and not much in the way of rainfall.
