Right entrance of the jet means Carolinas should get some fun out of it. Still has a fair shot at getting back to minimal hurricane by the time it runs into the OBX.

Florida though, nothingburgers all around it looks like.

Yep- we certainly like nothingburgers around here. We have plenty of worries otherwise and have certainly have had our share of something burgers in the past.

Mid and low levels are starting to stack up. Shear is dropping. Recon in now, so we should get some good samples to confirm.

The storms sure have trended towards east coast this hurricane season. Not a good sign with the worst probably waiting ahead. This hurricane season is going to have to go in greek if it continues on this path. I feel like someone is going to get it in the pooper by something big.

Like I said earlier.......Cat 1-2 hitting around Wilmington isn’t out the question........Same scenario made a huge mess there 2 years ago. Shallow waters on the approach caused a stall....

I was there for the recovery efforts. It didn’t get the news play it deserved.

Once again the east coast of florida dodges another storm. Good luck Carolina's it does look to be headed your way again.

Gonna have a tough time getting to sub 980 with the current pressure at 1000 mb.

Yeah. Looks better on radar but pressure slowly rising. Will be mostly a rain flooding threat except for coastal winds and maybe a few trees down and power outages inland.
