Technically he never said at landfall. Based on the ambiguity of his statement I take it he meant a hurricane at any point

He just wants it no matter what is what youre saying

Honestly every parish and county from Terrebonne parish to the Florida Panhandle should be declaring an emergency just to have all the red tape finished so they can get aid if they do need it. If they don’t need it they haven’t lost anything.

I used to go to the plant In Moss point and buy a barrel of pogy oil and pour into old gallon milk jugs. The most bad smelling slippy substance known to mankind. It smelled 10 times as bad as the stuff you buy at Academy and if you got it on anything on your boat, it would be slick as glass.

Since I joined near the peak time of ATPB megathread, I was accused of being "one of those" just joining for that thread. But, honestly, it was a local LSU fan who told me about this site and how there weren't only LSU fans here.

I joined about that same time for the ATPB thread. Then I was looking at the OT and saw a thread someone started about the police killing a dog. As I was reading that thread I realized they were talking about my dog that a worthless, dickless, sorry arse piece of shite TPD officer shot. In my own garage, while I was inside the house watching TV.

It was weird coming across a thread that someone took the time to make and it was about me.

Ground is already saturated from this weekend. I had 8 inches of standing water under my house just from rain. Perdido bay watershed is full. If any storm surge this could be ugly for lower Alabama.

It’s up from a Cat 1 to 4 now at landfall. I think tropical storm isn’t a possibility anymore.

On the positive tomorrow, Thurs and Friday am will be epic fishing inshore and week after epic fishing offshore. You can count on that. I am definitely going Thursday

It really is amazing that they haven’t gone the way of soothsayers, fortune tellers, psychics, and mediums. It’s a completely unnecessary profession in a modern world.
Or, it's because the Gulf of America being such an unpredictable source of storm energy makes predicting patterns inherently difficult on any given 12-hour window.

Those would lead me to believe they are more on the side of "clickbait" meteorology than serious. The general consensus seems to be Cat 1-2 at landfall from all the models

Lower end category 3 seems to be the top end of all the model members
