Yeah it is moving just enough to not pile up in any one place and produce any flash flooding. But the rivers and creeks are still going to have to drain somewhere and many will overflow their banks. Hopefully none near larger towns and cities.
Bullseye is now from MB to Wilmington.

Seems most every year we get a little north wind this time of year, looks to be enough to get the teal moving around.

Klotzbach and the CSU crew are not backing off of their hyperactive season forecast.

At the risk of jinxing it and getting no rain, I'm going to say that I hope this little stretch of cooler weather isn't a washout like the last one was. We can always use the rain this time of year, just not 8" of it in ten days.

Stephanie Abrams was just saying this morning as I turned the TV on that that is is all related to climate and we "need to think about how we're treating the planet". Did not mention anything about the technical weather patterns that post is talking about.
Also, I think they were saying Charleston has received 8 or 9 inches of rain which I don't think we're even close to over the past few days.

That part is legit. The station at the airforce base has gotten over 8.25".

Definitely. It has kept moving just enough.

I'd be curious to hear if anywhere downtown or at the beaches has a reading, because it's looked like over/near the water has been more "clear" while the clouds and storms from this have been inland a bit.
And those pumps they brought in must be doing work because I've seen our area flood way worse from less in the past.

Also dry air is wrapping all the way around the system and in to the core which is limiting precipitation.

These frequent weather alerts are rather annoying when it has barely rained since this morning and radar shows no significant rain bands moving our way.
eta: Whenever I turn on my TV my streaming provider plays every warning which has come out since my TV was last on. They will play 6+ in a row all about the same flash flood warning.

Hot in Halifax NS
Just be glad your not in Halifax, NS.
We're heading there next week and it looks like a scorcher.
